Marriage

Marriage Preparation

Preparation must begin at least 6 months prior to the desired wedding date.

Steps to take:

  1. Have an initial meeting with Fr. Chi-Nhan to fill out "Freedom to Marry" paperwork.

  2. Contact the corresponding Wedding Coordinator (see contact information below) for more information and to continue the process.

Required Documents

The following documents will be requested during the Wedding Preparation process:

  • Freedom to Marry paperwork (completed during initial meeting with Fr. Chi-Nhan).

  • Witness Forms (completed by parents or close family/friends) and signed by clergy.

  • A recent Baptismal Certificate with Notations (issued within 6 months of the wedding).

  • A valid Marriage License. 

  • If previously married in the Church, a church annulment must be granted before setting a date.
