Baptism
For Children 6 years and UNder
We welcome parents who are seeking baptism for their children, the first sacrament celebrated in the process of becoming a full member of the Catholic Church. The waters of baptism symbolize life, grace, new birth, cleansing, and renewal as we begin a new life in Christ. We look forward to celebrating your child as a member of the family of God and a member of our Catholic community here at St. Pius X. ​​​​
To Schedule your child's Baptism, You'll Need To:
1. Fill out our online Baptism Registration Form.

2. Attend a Baptism Preparation class.
We offer Baptism Preparation Classes here at St. Pius X, on the first Saturday of the month. If you are taking the preparation class here, there is a $30 fee for registered parishioners (of at least 6 months) or $50 for non-registered parishioners. You can pay with cash or check (add "Child's name Baptism" on the memo line) at the parish office. When the office is closed, you can drop off checks with the proper memo in the keyhole outside the Parish Office. Or you can pay online here and select Fund>Other Payments and add note/memo for “Child’s name Baptism".
3. Be a registered member of St. Pius X, offering your time, talent, and treasure to the parish.
If you are not a registered parishioner and would like the baptism celebrated here, we need a letter of consent from your pastor stating that you’re allowed to do so. If we are your parish, and you have not registered, you can do so here.
4. Have the godparent(s) sign this oath.
Godparents who live far away may attend the Baptism Preparation class at their parish and share a completion certificate with you - send that certificate to sacraments@stpius.org.
5. Email sacraments@stpius.org to ask about available dates.
