Eucharist

Holy Mass is the source and summit of the Christian life; the most important act of worship from which all goodness flows. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we are all expected to come together as one community to gather, listen to God's Word, and receive our Lord in this Sacrament – a sacred joy and duty for all Catholics. We are then sent forth on mission each Sunday to proclaim Good News in the ordinary circumstances of our lives.​​

First Communion pREPARATION

​This faith formation program is intended for children in 2nd-6th grade who have been baptized in the Catholic Church. Unbaptized children, and children baptized in in other Christian traditions, will need to register for the Order of Christian Initiation of Children (for those 12 years and under) or of Adults (for those 13 years and older). Please note that the links will redirect you to our "OCIC" and "OCIA" pages.

SPX School 2nd graders

  • Students will receive instruction during school hours in their Religion Class. ​(SPX Students in grades 3rd-6th will need to attend classes on Sundays, accompanied by a parent.)

  • Additionally, there will be 4 parent sessions and a general rehearsal the weekend of First Communion Masses. Parent sessions will take place on Sundays at 9:15 AM and will have a duration of 1 hour. 

  • Attending Sunday mass is a requirement during this period, as is making confessions (reconciliation).​

Classes begin Sunday, October 4th at 9:15 AM

Non-SPX School 2nd graders & all 3RD-6TH gRADERS

  • Classes will be almost every Sunday at 9:15 AM in the Community Center.

  • This program is a family catechesis, meaning that the children must attend classes with at least one parent. 

  • There will be a general rehearsal the weekend of First Communion masses. 

  • Attending Sunday mass is a requirement during this period, as is making confessions (reconciliation).​

Registration Fee:

$0 for 2nd grade students who attend the St. Pius X School,

$120 for parishioners,

$150 non-parishioners.​
