SPX ANGELS: CALLING ALL ANGELS
Our very successful campaign to replace the church roof was accomplished with tremendous support of the
St. Pius X community. Thank you for your generosity!
The project uncovered a number of unexpected and unavoidable renovation complications. The consequence was that the contingency budget was exhausted, and the project finished over budget. Compounding matters, the campaign finished $48,000 short of our $1.4 million goal.
Several “ala carte” items are in need of financial support to help us fully fund the project.
Here’s where we need help:
This campaign invites members of the St. Pius X community to become an “SPX Angel” and earn their wings by making a donation toward the funding of these important projects.
How To Earn Your Wings
We’re inviting members of our St. Pius X family to become an “SPX Angel.”
How is this done? Well, we’re going to borrow an old idea and give it a new twist. Instead of “buying a brick,” were going to invite you to become an SPX Angel and earn your wings by “sponsoring a feather” made by one of our 540 St. Pius X School students with a donation of any amount. If possible, a suggested donation of $250 or more will help us to more quickly fund remaining expenses related to replacing the church roof.
The angel’s wings are installed in a mural on the back wall of the Church Hall. When you make a donation, stop by the display, and add a sponsorship sticker to a feather. Our goal is to sponsor all of the students’ feathers. It’ll be easy to track overall progress as feathers are adorned by stickers as we progress toward our goal.

If donating by check, please be certain to include
“SPX Angel Campaign” on the memo line so that your donation can be properly recorded.
Can you buy more than one set of wings?
Absolutely! You can sponsor as many feathers as you’d like, and any student’s feather can be sponsored multiple times (say by parents, grandparents, family members, etc.). Or, you can randomly add your sponsorship to any feather. We can never have too many angels!

Everyone who supports the campaign in spirit or with a donation can stop after Masses to have their picture taken with angel’s wings and join our “Wall of SPX Angels.”
