Altar Servers
In-parish training to familiarize new altar servers is conducted throughout the year as needed and as possible. All servers must attend our formational-training sessions as well as our mini spiritual growth retreats. To be an altar server you must:

Have received your First Holy Communion,

Be a 4th grader or older,

Must have a strong desire to be an altar server, and
-
Want to be a responsible prayer leader.
Lectors
To serve as Lectors, "proclaiming the Word of God" persons must:

Be practicing Catholics, in good standing with the parish community and possess a love of the scriptures.

Receive the Sacraments of Initiation.

Be properly trained
Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion
To serve as extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, besides knowing how to distribute Holy Communion according to the rites of the church, persons must:

be practicing Catholics, distinguished in their Christian life, faith, and morals;

be at least 16 years old

have received the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, and holy Eucharist

demonstrate a deep reverence for and devotion to the Most Holy Eucharist;
-
possess the requisite abilities and temperament to carry out their assigned duties; be examples to the parish community in their own reverent participation at Mass, reception of Holy Communion and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
