Order of Christian Initiation of Adults & Children
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults & Children is itself a class and journey of conversion, where one studies the Gospel, professes faith in Jesus and his Church, and receives the sacraments. Think of it as “Catholicism 101”!

Catechumens are those seeking full initiation into the Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Initiation – Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Ages 7 and older.

Candidates are those baptized in one of the Eastern Orthodox or Protestant traditions but are seeking full communion with the Catholic Church through Eucharist and Confirmation. Ages 7 and older.

Anyone becoming Catholic needs sponsors and community support to help them grow in the faith. You will have an opportunity to meet mature Christians who will pray with and guide you on this journey during classes.
