Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration
At St. Pius X, on December 12, we celebrate the appearance of Our Lady of Guadalupe to the Aztec Indian Juan Diego in 1531. This apparition of the Virgin Mary generated the conversion of Mexican, Central and South American people to Catholicism. On December 12, we begin the “Mañanitas” singing to Mary the Happy Birthday song at 5:00 a.m. Later during the day, we have a regular Mass and a Fiesta celebration.
Promotores de Salud
