Peace & Justice Team
The St. Pius X Peace and Justice Team organizes actions and programs to help the community encounter, understand and put into action a wide range of Catholic Social Teachings. The events involve adults, children, and families facilitating stewardship of the environment and the need to address differences non-violently. The team joins with state and country-wide campaigns led by the US Catholic Bishops for economic and political justice. Locally, we sponsor the Search for Peace Art event on peace and non-violence and the Good Friday Walk of the Cross, which prayerfully, exposes us to injustices in our community.
